Lesbians Gone Wild: Dinah Shore Weekend

Lesbians Gone Wild: Dinah Shore Weekend

I am very excited to share that the Huffington Post Gay Voices is carrying my second piece. The first one that they carried was my piece on the TSA and it kind of changed my life as far as visibility and legitimacy. I was afraid that I would only get that one shot. Especially because most of my stuff is fun and fluffy, rather than serious like that painful piece.

Thankfully, I was wrong and they have a fun piece up today. Hooray! Would you please head over there and check it out?

Thank you all for your support!

  1. THIS IS THE COMMENT I POSTED ON HUFF POST GAY IN REPLY TO YOUR ARTICLE, COMPLETE EXCEPT FOR FIRST SENTENCE.

Wonderfully descriptive article for a very visual person such as myself. This quote “Connectedness and community. I felt a part of the huge lesbian web and family. You don’t get that in your everyday life.”. I’ve never been to Dinah but I experienced that feeling in the mid-80s at a Gay Rights March/weekend in Washingtion, DC. The entire city – or the part I visited felt very safe and open-with gays and lesbians openly LGBT everywhere – what a high! I wrote an article for home gay paper myself back then – will never forget that feeling – hope to experience it again one day. Thank you, Tristan! Keep on writing! You are awesome – descriptive with your own personal slant which I find most witty, humorous, and delightful. Anne
